New Episodes of Awesome Formula 1 McLaren Cartoon series

McLaren Animation Tooned Series

There has never really been a good series of Motorsport based cartoons since the days of Speed Racer

But that has all changed with the team at McLaren teaming up with an animation studio to create their own series called “Tooned”

It featuring their own drivers Lewis Hamilton

and Jensen Button playing themselves

It is very clever idea by McLaren and it is very well done and has a very Pixar feel about it.

Each episode is very funny and very well scripted. It will be interesting to see how many episodes they do.

If you have seen the first episode then the latest ones are below.
If you haven’t seen any of them, then Episodes 1-3 are below to enjoy.

Customers in Düsseldorf can look forward to MP4/5 which took Alain Prost to a world championship title in 1989, while Hamburg’s car enthusiasts will be impressed with MP4/6, the car in which Ayrton Senna won his third, and last championship title, in 1991. The remaining two dealers in Frankfurt and Munich will open in autumn this year

Jensen Button sets a Lap Record at Bathurst

Redbull’s Formula 1 team has been doing demonstration events with their F1 cars for a while all around the world from in the streets to in the snow to in the sand by the beach.

So when the word got out that McLaren was looking to be the first team to take a modern day F1 car around Bathurst, I knew we were in for treat.

So when time came a couple of weeks ago, I couldn’t wait for it to happen and for the footage and images to hit the web.

Below is a image from the day of Jensen in action on his way to recording the fastest even lap record of the circuit

Vodafone McLaren 3rd Driver Campaign

I had seen these Vodafone adverts on bill boards around Melbourne in the lead up to the GP all about the 3rd Driver Campaign.

But it wasn’t until I found the “viral” video series on YouTube that I could see what it was all about.

Vodafone have been very clever with going for this style of campaign and it has worked very well with the tie in with both the F1 Team and the V8 Supercar team and Bathurst.

Enough from me check out the video series below,

Enjoy !!!
