Toyota last week released there latest LeMans car, the TS040 Hybrid, the car which will take the team into the 2014 FIA World Endurance Championship and a new era of hybrid powered motorsport.
The new car represents the most advanced hybrid technology in modern racing. Its competition debut will be at the season-opening Six Hours of Silverstone race on 20 April.
Toyota will be taking on rival manufacturers Audi and Porsche with a car that benefits from 480PS (473bhp/353kW) of all-wheel drive hybrid boost in addition to the 520PS (513bhp/383kW) produced by its 3.7-litre V8 petrol engine, taking maximum power to 1,000PS (986bhp/736kW).
As a result of this launch Toyota has taken a look back and released images of their classic and legendary Le Mans challengers inside the Toyota Motorsport GmbH museum.

Now Audi has released the 3rd generation of its successful Allroad models
The first two generations of the allroad quattro were winners, and Audi hopes to build on this success with the third generation. Universally talented, the new A6 allroad quattro extends the range of uses for the A6 Avant because when the asphalt ends, it just keeps on driving. Performance has improved and fuel consumption has been reduced by as much as 20 percent compared with the previous model.

Lexus of Brisbane will ‘go pink’ in support of National Breast Cancer Awareness month this October.
Lexus of Brisbane’s customer welcome packs, showroom and the dealership’s $700,000 LFA Supercar will go pink in aid of the cause.
The Brisbane-based LFA will be the only pink version to appear in Australia – possibly the world.
Lexus of Brisbane is also supporting the National Breast Cancer Awareness Foundation’s Hope Links Golf Day – which will be supported by Lexus of Brisbane ambassadors and Australian Rugby Union players The Fainga’a Twins (Anthony and Saia), Lexus ambassador and Wallabies captain James Horwill and Wallabies coach Robbie Deans.
Lexus of Brisbane dealer principal Andrew Scifleet said that the initiative is just one way the team at Lexus can get behind the cause.
“Along with donations, auction items and support of the Fainga’a Twins Charity Golf Day, going pink is our way reminding all of Brisbane that October is the month of Breast Cancer Awareness.”

Bolt is currently in Japan as part of promotion appearance with Nissan.
Nissan Japan have today announced that they have extended Bolt ambassador agreement to now include him being appointed to the “Director of Excitement”.
Also announced today by Nissan, is that they will donate a one off Gold coloured GTR to be auctioned off and all proceeds to go to the Usain Bolt Foundation.
Whilst in Japan Bolt will be test driving various GTR models at the track, Bolt will then work with Nissan engineers to help create a special “Bolt” Edition GTR, which will then be sold by Nissan dealers around the world
